NoelsonFlake (Glass Flake), with its physical and chemical stability, has demonstrated broad and significant value in the field of thermoplastic applications - especially in enhancing the overall performance of plastic materials.

Key Advantages:

  1. Diverse Size Specifications: With a typical flake thickness of 5 ± 2 μm, particle sizes range from fine (10 - 400 μm) to large (> 1000 μm), allowing customization for various thermoplastic processing needs.

  2. Optimal Particle Size Distribution: Ensures uniform dispersion within the plastic matrix, contributing to synergistic mechanical reinforcement effects.

  3. Surface Treatment & Chemical Modification:

    1. Enhances compatibility with thermoplastic resins and prevents agglomeration

    2. Improves chemical inertness and corrosion resistance for demanding applications

Performance Enhancements:

  1. Improved Mechanical Strength:

    1. Significantly increases tensile strength (by 20 - 30%)

    2. Enhances impact resistance, especially in brittle plastics such as PS

  2. Barrier Property Enhancement:

    1. Reduces water vapor and gas permeability (by over 50%)

    2. Ideal for food packaging, chemical storage, and protective films

  3. Thermal Stability Improvement:

    1. Reduces the coefficient of thermal expansion (by 30 - 40%)

    2. Increases thermal decomposition temperature and dimensional stability, suitable for high-temperature plastic components

Recommended Grades:

  1. NCF-600 / NCF-160 / NCF-140 / NCF-015

  2. A full product range covering various particle sizes and surface treatment(s), compatible with multiple thermoplastic and resin systems.

Thermoplastic...change color on plastic cup or bowl which depends on the temperature. Kind of pigment it's been searched around in my country for differentiation change colors for 2 - 3 times in one substrate.
